Brooklyn Historical Society

Located in Brooklyn Heights, the Brooklyn Historical Society is home to many of the City’s oldest and most coveted books and artifacts. This landmark building was built in 1881 and is known for its remarkable library, stained glass windows and ornate wood columns.  Unfortunately, through the years the building had begun to sag in critical locations, cracking and damaging the beautiful building interiors.  Working in parallel with structural engineers, our team shored up the library space mezzanine along with various other building conditions, enabling artisans to restore the building back to its original splendor.
